Wow, this sure took ferever, but was completely worth it! I'd been kinda feelin' uncertain of what I wanted to do artistically a few days ago, an' while I couldn't make up my mind I happened upon this neat expression meme -- [link]

I figured I'd do it 'cos, well, one, I suck at expressions, an' two, I thought it'd be a good opportunity to work on a simpler style while also workin' on breakin' down my really restrictive color barriers. So I did that. I could still push my color and expressions further, but this is, from my perspective, a crazy improvement over what I've been able to produce in either of those areas in the past.

I think your style is by far my favorite painterly style I've ever seen.
I mean, I haven't seen every last artist of the type, XD
But.
I REALLY love yours.
I wish I could do something like it.

You can use like any set of colors, and still have everything blend
beautifully.

Wow, that's a huge compliment, hah, thanks so much! Honestly I barely know what I'm doing though, heheh. Sometimes it works out an' sometimes it doesn't. I've got a looot to learn. XD

I'm glad ya enjoy my work though! Hope I can keep makin' stuff ya like! :D

An' as far as doin' stuff like it goes, I tend ta do my best work whenever I step out of my comfort zone an' try somethin' new -- so just go for it! After a little bit of experimentation I bet you'll be surprised at what ya can pull off. XD

Experimenting is usually a general key!
I've recently been trying some painterly-ish things.
I mean. I haven't really looked at any tutorials so I
have no idea what I'm doing. It's fun though XD
