King Sombra! Turns out I love him too! At least his design. Sorta. I'd mess with his colors a bit, hah.

Just a portrait to remember how to paint. Discovered some little things doing this I might incorporate into future stuff. Bleeeh, it's been a while an' I'm a little creatively slow right now, but hopefully I'll be back to submitting as often as I did over summer soon.

i'm not a fan of him much, he had hardly any lines for a villain (discord leaves a lot to live up to)
and his design is kind of over the top, if you took a few things out he'd be pretty badass but i mean
to me he looks like some ~*~badass alicorn~*~ oc a 12 year old made up
that aside holy fuck i love this, the mixture of hard and soft edges and lines is great
and the eye glow hhgggh

Hahah, In terms of villains on the show goes, he's definitely the worst. An' I hear ya on the over-the-top design -- I kinda trimmed away some elements when I made this portrait. :D As much as he looks like *that* badass alicorn, there's still somethin' appealin' to me in his design. It's definitely not his weird mix of colors though, that's fer sure. It's probably just that I love every pony ever. XD

And thanks a ton! The hard/soft edges thing is somethin' I'm tryin' to focus on right now, so 'm'glad it got a good response from ya :D Also, lawl, I fudged that eye glow so much. No technique, so much luck. XD
